The town is implementing a parking ban from 10 a.m. Wednesday morning until 10 p.m. Thursday in preparation for the snow storm expected to hit the region.

Dartmouth Public Schools has also announced early school closings.

Dartmouth High will be released at 10:45 a.m. followed by the middle school at 10:50 and the elementary school at noon. Pre-school will be released at 11:35 a.m.

Lunches will not be served at any public schools.

Bishop Stang High School will operate on an early dismissal schedule. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. All after school activities will be cancelled. A scheduled Class of 2022 registration night is postponed to March 27.

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth cancelled Wednesday evening classes, effective at 6 p.m. A Ring Road parking ban will go into effect at 6 p.m. Campus services and locations including dining, the library, and the fitness center will also close ealry.
