Robert A. Davis, Jr., 72, of North Dartmouth, formerly of Wareham died June 4 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Wareham, Robert was the son of the late Cecelia P. (Pierucci) Medeiros and Dr. Robert A. Davis, Sr.

Robert was a football fan and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots as well as Red Sox baseball.

He is survived by his brother, Royal T. Davis of Franklin, and his sister, Elizabeth Davis Bird of Brockton, several nieces, and nephews, along with his caregivers and housemates.

A private graveside service will be held at Rochester Center Cemetery, Rochester.
