Learn about the First Amendment and the right to a free press with the New England First Amendment Coalition.

The organization will host a community conversation on the topic of the First Amendment on May 23, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Southworth Library, 732 Dartmouth St. 

Karen Bordeleau of the Providence Journal, Edward Fitzpatrick, also of the Providence Journal, Barbara T. Roessner of the Hearst Connecticut Media Group, and Gregory Sullivan, who teaches First Amendment Media Law at Suffolk University Law School in Boston.

This is the third in a series of panel discussions the organization is holding in libraries in towns around Boston and Providence. The Dartmouth panel is sponsored by the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries, and is free and open to the public.
