Feasibility survey for Dias Landing
The Dartmouth Waterways Management Commission is proposing to expand Dias Landing to potentially include a marina. The scope of the project could range from adding dinghy dockage to building a new structure for around two dozen 25-foot shallow-draft vessels.
The town, in collaboration with UMass Boston’s Urban Harbors Institute, seeks input from the public. Residents are invited to provide their thoughts by taking a feasibility study survey at dartmouthharbormaster.com or www.umb.edu/uhi/diaslandingstudy.
The survey is meant to assess the public’s and boaters’ interest in the project; financial, regulatory, environmental, and public access aspects, and overall management of the facility.
