Apply for a scholarship with the Dartmouth Grange
The Dartmouth Grange is now taking applications for the 2021 John H. Brown Jr. Scholarships, to be awarded to graduating seniors at Dartmouth High School and Westport High School.
The scholarship committee’s criteria will include academic merit and community service.
Students interested in environmental science or agricultural studies are preferred, but that is not essential to apply for a scholarship.
Applications are due on April 15 and are available online from each school, and from the Dartmouth Grange website at www.dartmouthgrange.org.
Last year the Dartmouth Grange gave over $46,000 in scholarships to twelve students.
Awards went to the following students from Dartmouth High School: Mariah Andrade, attending Salve Regina University; Kayla Anthony, attending the University of Rhode Island; Alexis Arruda, attending Simmons University; Andrew Banno, attending the University of Vermont; John Correiro, attending the Colorado School of Mines; Cason Tripp, attending Wheaton College; and Ashley White, attending James Madison University.
