Robert J. Willett, 82, of Dartmouth died Friday, November 25, 2022 peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Lillian (Mills) Willett, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Somerville, son of the late Albert and Jeannette (Gallant) Willett, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.

Bob was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in New Bedford.

He was formerly employed as a scalloper for many years until his retirement.

Bob was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. "Uncle Bob", as he was known to many, had a kind heart and would do anything for anyone. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed woodworking, working in the yard, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; his son, Kevin Willett of Westport; his granddaughter, Meagan Willett and her companion Tiago Dias of Dartmouth; his sister, Diane Rogers of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Scott Willett.
