UMass Dartmouth and Massasoit Community College unite to sign nursing articulation agreement
DARTMOUTH —UMass Dartmouth and Massasoit Community College signed a collaborative agreement Wednesday, March 12 streamlining the transition for nursing students from the Massasoit Community College’s Associate in Science in nursing program into UMass Dartmouth’s online Bachelor of Science nursing program.
The partnership provides Massasoit Community College nursing graduates with a pathway to earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
Assistant Director of Admissions for UMass Dartmouth Online Anne Berriault highlighted the program's flexibility for students.
"The online registered nurse Bachelor of Science program is designed to accommodate working nurses, allowing them to balance their education with professional and personal responsibilities while receiving a high-quality nursing education,” she said.
Massasoit Community College graduates who meet the transfer criteria will receive admission to UMass Dartmouth’s online program.
