Notice is hereby given under M.G.L., Chapter 40, Section 15C and the Dartmouth General Bylaws, Scenic Roads, of a PUBLIC HEARING to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025. The Governor has issued a 2025 extension to the emergency order through June 30, 2027, allowing municipal boards to conduct their business through videoconferencing platforms. This public hearing will have no physical location but rather will only be held remotely through the Zoom application and will be accessible for live interaction by the petitioners and the public using:

The hearing concerns a request by John Cashman to remove the current driveway entrance at 801 Rock O’Dundee Road, which is a scenic road, and move the entrance farther east to improve sight visibility of oncoming traffic and safety for those entering and exiting the driveway. Stones from the stonewall alteration will be relocated to the former driveway break in the existing stone wall.
Information regarding this project is on file in the Planning Board Office (room #317), Town Office Building, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA and may be seen during regular business hours upon request of an appointment with the Planning Department.

INVITATION FOR BID
The Town of Dartmouth, Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for:
Water Supply Well Cleaning
Sealed bids will be received by the Department of Public Works, 759 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth, MA, 02748, during business hours, until the date and time of the bid opening.
BID OPENING
Bids will be opened June 3, 2025, at
10:30 A.M. Prevailing Time
Contract Documents, including the Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Specifications, and other Contract Documents, may be obtained and/or examined on or after May 14, 2025, at the Department of Public Works, 759 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth, MA, 02748 Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Bid documents are also available electronically, please contact Rosa Tavares, Contract Bidding Aide at rtavares@town.dartmouth.ma.us.
Attention is called to the fact that supplies furnished as part of this Contract are exempt from the Sales and Use Tax. All bids submitted should take this factor into consideration and be calculated accordingly.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, treasurer’s check, or cashier’s check. The amount of such bid security shall be five (5) percent of the value of the total bid.
The contract will be awarded within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The time for award may be extended by mutual agreement between the Town and the awarded bidder.
No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of thirty (30) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The Bidder must furnish a Non-Collusion Form and Statement of Taxes, with their bid.
Proposals must include ALL DOCUMENTS required by the Invitation for Bid. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality, reject any or all proposals, or accept other than the lowest priced proposal.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, minimum wage rates to be paid and payroll submission requirements under the Contract. Minimum Wage Rates, as determined by the Director of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, §26 to §27H, as amended, apply to this Project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before Bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades’ people who may be employed for the proposal work under this Contract.
The Town of Dartmouth reserves the right to waive any informalities in and reject any or all bids, or accept all or any part thereof, to make awards in a manner deemed in its best interest.Per order of: Board of Public Works.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION STUDY AND STAFFING LEVEL ASSESSMENT
The Town of Dartmouth, Massachusetts invites qualified responders to submit proposals to provide services for a Compensation and Classification Study and Staffing Level Assessment in accordance with the Request for Proposals (RFP) document. This study will include 372 employees. Proposals will be received by the Town Administrator’s Office, Town Hall Room 303, Town of Dartmouth, Dartmouth, MA 02747 until 12:00 PM (noon) local time on Monday, June 2, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All proposals shall be addressed and delivered to: ATTN: Town Administrator’s Office, Town of Dartmouth, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747.
