NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given that a meeting will be held in accordance with the provisions of the Dartmouth Wetlands Protection Bylaw and M.G.L., Ch. 131, §40, the Wetlands Protection Act, on the Request for Determination of Applicability from the Town of Dartmouth to provide upgrades and improvements to Elswick Street and Route 6 pump stations within the 100-ft Buffer Zone to a Bordering Vegetated Wetland (Elswick) and within the Riverfront Area and the 100-ft Buffer Zone to an Inland bank (State); on lands described by the coordinates are 41.641029° N, 71.014158° W and 41.639860° N, 71.023440° W, respectively. The Conservation Commission voted in a Public Meeting to continue meeting virtually (via a Zoom Link) in accordance with the Governor’s 2025 extension of the virtual/hybrid open meeting option through June 30, 2027. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday May 27, 2025. Notice is hereby given under M.G.L., Chapter 40, Section 15C and the Dartmouth General Bylaws, Scenic Roads, of a PUBLIC HEARING to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025. The Governor has issued a 2025 extension to the emergency order through June 30, 2027, allowing municipal boards to conduct their business through videoconferencing platforms. This public hearing will have no physical location but rather will only be held remotely through the Zoom application and will be accessible for live interaction by the petitioners and the public using:

The hearing concerns a request by John Cashman to remove the current driveway entrance at 801 Rock O’Dundee Road, which is a scenic road, and move the entrance farther east to improve sight visibility of oncoming traffic and safety for those entering and exiting the driveway. Stones from the stonewall alteration will be relocated to the former driveway break in the existing stone wall.
Information regarding this project is on file in the Planning Board Office (room #317), Town Office Building, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA and may be seen during regular business hours upon request of an appointment with the Planning Department.

The Conservation Commission voted in a Public Meeting to continue meeting virtually (via a Zoom Link) in accordance with the Governor’s 2025 extension of the virtual/hybrid open meeting option through June 30, 2027.
