The Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society will present a lecture called “Long Shadows” at its next Sunday lecture series at 2:30 p.m.

The lecture will focus on tales of sadness and tragedy pieced together entirely through public documents and historical records. DHAS President Bob Harding will lead the talk. Light refreshments will be available.

A $5 donation is recommended. The talk will be at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse, 1205 Russells Mills Rd.
