The Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society in conjunction with the Dartmouth Grange is hosting a “Come Back In Time” event where residents can learn more about the history of Dartmouth.
The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 1205 Russells Mill Road and around the corner at 1133 Fisher Road.
During the event, there will be lots to learn about life in Dartmouth during the Revolutionary War. From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., there will be an exhibit to learn about houses and inhabitants who lived during the war. The rest of the day, there will be demonstrations by a sailmaker, lace-making and spinning.
Boy Scout troop 13 of North Dartmouth will be leading Colonial-era games like hoop and stick, ring toss and stilts.
Guests can talk with Dartmouth Militia actors to learn more about life during the war.
