On Wednesday, October 10th at 6pm, The Encompass Community at Friends Academy, 1088 Tucker Road, will host a lively African Drum and Dance Workshop for families facilitated by Tara Murphy of the Cape Cod African Drum and Dance troupe. This event is free and open to the public.

The evening will consist of a combination class, where participants will learn both hand-drumming techniques and traditional African dance steps. The intro-class is appropriate for all levels of dance experience. Children ages 4 and up are invited to attend with their parents. Please wear comfortable clothing and come dressed to move! Drums will be provided, but participants can bring their own drums, too.
