The Lloyd Center for the Environment will host its second year of Animal Encounters — a fun-filled interaction with reptiles, amphibians, insects, and other wildlife — on September 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m..

The day will be full of animal meet and greets, trail walks, scavenger hunts, and activities for all age levels. Participants will learn about the biodiversity in their own backyard.

This event is free to all Lloyd Center members, with a suggested donation of $5 for non-members. All ages are welcome. Contact Erika at (508) 990-0505, ext. 18 or erika@lloydcenter.org with any questions.

The event will be led by Lloyd Center staff at the center's Hardscrabble Nature Preserve located at 430 Potomska Road.
