Bishop Stang presents “A Christmas Carol”

Nov 7, 2023

There goes Mr. Humbug, there goes Mr. Grim: Scrooge returns, as Bishop Stang High School’s Theatre Company presents Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," adapted by Patrick Barlow. The company will host two performances, on Nov. 17 and 18 at 7 p.m.

Andrea Cadorette is the Ghost of Christmas Past, Emma Perry is the Ghost of Christmas Present, and a distinct portrayal of the Ghosts of the Future Yet to Come will be played by Hunter Erickson, Holly Eyre, and Darien Thombs. Alongside Scrooge's journey are Collin Sardinha as Bob Cratchit, Jack Nylin as Tiny Tim, and Sarah Canuel as Mrs. Cratchit.

On stage, Lola Bergeron is Scrooge's Mother, Sam Kelleher is Frederick and Young Scrooge, and Maylee Thibault is Constance. Behind the scenes, the hard-working senior Rose Clark, a backstage veteran, has dedicated hours to bringing shows to life.

Tickets are priced at $12 for adults and $10 for students, children, and senior citizens. You can acquire tickets from any cast or crew member or purchase them at the door.

The production will be at the John C. O'Brien gymnasium at Bishop Stang High School, 500 Slocum Rd., North Dartmouth, MA. If you have any questions, contact the school at (508) 996-5602 for more details.
