St. Peter’s Episcopal church will offer a Blessing of Animals and Pets on Sunday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. in honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Pets of all sizes and shapes (dogs, cats, goldfish, hamsters, turtles, birds, snakes, and all others) are welcome to attend. Children are invited to bring their stuffed animals as well to be blessed. Please have your pet on a leash, in a pet carrier, cage or aquarium. Everyone regardless of current faith tradition is invited to join us for this fun community-wide event.
