Dartmouth Community Television will host a candidates forum at Town Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

The forum will feature some of the candidates who will appear on the ballot during the September primary.

Candidates will answer questions from WBSM News Director Kate Robinson and Dartmouth Week Editor Christopher Shea. Dartmouth Community Media’s Paul Santos will moderate.

Questions can be submitted for the panel to consider by emailing dctv@town.dartmouth.ma.us or during the forum in the chat feature of the live stream.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. with Cameron Costa and incumbent Chris Markey, who are running to represent the 9th Bristol District in the Massachusetts State House. The district is made up of all of Dartmouth and the North End of New Bedford.

No Republican is running for the seat this year.

Candidates for Bristol County District Attorney will have their chance to present their platforms at around 7:05 p.m. Running in this year’s race is incumbent Thomas Quinn III and former Bristol County prosecutor Shannon McMahon.
