Attend a concert celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Independence

On Sunday, May 3 the Greater New Bedford Choral Society will perform an afternoon of American music in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Led by music director and Dartmouth resident Brian Dean Sousa, the concert will include classical selections like Randall Thompson's "Frostiana" and Aaron Copland's "Simples Gifts." It will also feature songs like "Oh Susannah," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and "What a Wonderful World."
Tickets are available online at www.gnbcs.org or can be purchased at the door. Tickets cost $30 for the VIP section and $20 for general seating. Children under 12 can get in for free.
The concert will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church at 133 School Street, New Bedford.
