Check in with the Mass Audubon's Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary

Jul 25, 2016

Mass Audubon will be hosting a brown bag lunch series to teach the community about the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary’s conservation programs.

Meet neighbors, interns, and staff on Thursday, August 4 and Thursday, August 18 at the Stone Barn property located at 786 East Horseneck Road.

On August 4, local Osprey expert Alan Poole will recap his recent trip to Europe to study Osprey conservation on a large scale. On August 18th, Sanctuary neighbor and novice bird-watcher Norm Buck will present a series of fantastic photos of birds taken from his yard. Buck will update participants on the Westport's Bald Eagle nest, as well.

In addition to key notes, brown bag lunches will include updates on sanctuary conservation projects from interns and staff. Each brown bag lunch will start at 12 p.m. and will last about an hour.
