Cuttyhunk talk by photographer Phil Mello at the Olde Southworth

On Friday, February 7 photographer Phil Mello will be giving an illustrated talk at the Olde Southworth Library in Padanaram on his year-long study of everyday life on the remote island of Cuttyhunk.

He will be showing and discussing his work on the island at the mouth of Buzzards Bay from 7 to 8 p.m. 

The talk is hosted by the Dartmouth Cultural Center at the historic library on 404 Elm Street in South Dartmouth.

Phil Mello has exhibited his photographs at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, New Bedford Heritage Center and the New Bedford Art Museum.

He has photographs on exhibit in the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. as well as being a past Chairman of the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center. He is currently General Manager of Bergie's Seafood in New Bedford.
