Dartmouth Fire District No. 3 held its annual Open House on Sunday afternoon, providing station tours and equipment demonstrations among other activities for residents.
The open house included tours of the fire station, meet-and-greets with firefighters and Sparky the fire dog, food, and equipment demonstrations.
Also on show were demonstrations on putting out cooking fires and extracting a dummy from a car crash using the Jaws of Life.
Dartmouth Fire District No. 2 also held an Open House on Sunday afternoon with a firefighter meet-and-greet, a live fire demo, and equipment tours, including the district’s airboat.
