Dartmouth man Joshua Ferreira has been identified as the victim in the fatal Nov. 2 crash on Route 140, Massachusetts State Police reported. 

Only Ferreira’s vehicle, a 2006 Ford F150, was involved in the crash, which occurred just before Exit 7 on the north side of the highway.

According to the state police, Ferreira was driving at a high speed and struck the guardrail. The man was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation.
