After its second win in a row at the Bands of America regional competition last weekend, Dartmouth High School Marching Band secured its 12th USBands championship title at MetLife Stadium on Nov. 4. 

This is the band’s seventh time winning the competition since 2016. 

Again, the band won caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual, Best Percussion and Best General effect and Overall effect. 

With two consecutive competitions firmly in the “W” column, Dartmouth heads off to its first ever Bands of America Grand National competition in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium, from Nov. 9 to Nov. 11. 

After the previous weekend’s win, Music Director Ian Flint said the school is potentially among the top 20 scorers in the country.
