Dolores M. Lentz of Winter Park, Florida and So. Dartmouth, Massachusetts, left us on May 11 after a brief Illness. She was 92.

Like a force of nature, she could always be counted upon: organized, generous, and ready at a moment’s notice. Dolores left a legacy that will not be forgotten: organizing St. Mary’s Church Blood Bank, teaching art and ceramics, being a fixture at Anthony’s Beach, and gifting her handmade ceramics and porcelain that are cherished by all who received them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, grandchild Christine, and son-in-law Jack.

She is survived by her 4 children: Patricia Haley (David), Kate Kirkwood (Richard), Jan Goodhue (Jack), and Jay Lentz (Christine), 10 grandchildren, 6.5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

On June 15, there will be a Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10am and a family service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
