Donald T. Fenton, 85
Donald T. Fenton, 85, of Dartmouth, passed away on June 21, 2017 at home following a long illness.
He was the husband of Eileen D. (Gaspar) Fenton with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Thomas and Margery (Coombs) Fenton, he lived most of his life in Dartmouth.
He was a graduate of Dartmouth High School. Fenton proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War attaining the rank of Corporal. He was employed at Revere Copper and Brass for 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, cooking and most of all spending time with his loving family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his four children, Thomas Fenton and wife Erin, Russell Fenton and wife Karen, Donna Simpson and husband Kenneth, Brenda Lopes and husband John; a sister, Barbara Viola and husband Alfred; eight grandchildren, Meghan Fenton and wife Jennie, Thomas Fenton, Jessica and Kelly Fenton, Robert Morin and wife Crystal, Jayme Morin, Carl Gastall and Tyler Lopes; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Barry Fenton.
