Early voting starts October 17

Dartmouth residents can cast ballots for the 2020 general election as early as Oct. 17, according to a statement from town officials.

Ballots, which are set to arrive in town on Oct. 9., can be dropped in the large silver dropbox in the front parking lot of Town Hall any time. 

Early voting can also be done in person in room 103 at Dartmouth Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road from  Saturday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 30.

To check to see if you are registered to vote or to find information on registering, residents may visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website at www.sec.state.ma.us/ele.

The deadline to register is Oct. 24.

Once an early voting ballot has been cast, the voter may no longer vote at the polls on Election Day.
