On Jan. 15 and 16 the Dartmouth Natural Reserve Trust will lead night hikes in search of great horned and screech owls.

On the first night, Development and Outreach Specialist Kendra Parker will lead the hike through Slocum’s River Reserve.

Land Manager Linda Vanderveer will lead the second hike through the reserve on Jan. 16.

The hike starts at 7 p.m. on both nights at 320 Horseneck Road and will end at 8:30 p.m.

People can register for the free event on the trust’s website.

Those interested should register for only one Owl Prowl so everyone has an opportunity to attend.
