Grants available from Dartmouth Cultural Council

The Dartmouth Cultural Council was allocated $17,500 from the Mass Cultural Council to fund cultural programs that benefit residents of Dartmouth and nearby communities in the region.
Applications to the Dartmouth Cultural Council are open from September 1 through the deadline on October 17, 2023. Applicants for large programs that serve the region often apply to several local cultural councils for funding.
Residents of Dartmouth interested in serving on the Dartmouth Cultural Council can contact the DCC Chair Jim Sears at jsears@umassd.edu.
Recent recipients of DCC support include the South Coast Artist Open Studios and the Art Drive, the Greater New Bedford Choral Society, Shakespeare in New Bedford 2023, performances at Southworth Library, the New Bedford Jazz Fest, the New Bedford Festival Theater, the Southcoast Children’s Chorus, the Seaglass Theater, the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust, the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, the Paskamansett Bird Club, the Tri-County Music Association, Your Theater, the Old Dartmouth Historical Society, the-Dartmouth Cultural Center, the New Bedford Co-Creative Center, and the Rotch-Jones-Duff House and Garden Museum.
Applications for support are sent through the Mass Cultural Council website (massculturalcouncil.org). Applications will be received through October 17, 2023.
