Learn about the famous artist Mary Cassatt

Celebrate Women’s History Month with the Friends of the Dartmouth Library by learning more about a famous woman artist, Mary Cassatt, from local art historian Jill Sanford. 

The presentation is made for both artists and those wanting to learn, and will end with a beginner friendly art observation about Cassatt. 

Cassatt was a prominent artist in the 19th century, having made famous paintings like “The Child’s Bath” from 1893. 

The event will be held at the Southworth Library on Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m.
