NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in Meeting Room 304, Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA on the petition of Thomas & Valerie Alves who are seeking a Special Permit for the expansion of an existing non-conforming use in an Aquifer Protection Zone III, (12.4% existing to 15.7% proposed impervious lot coverage). (Article 375-28.5 B (8) Prohibited Uses, lot coverage above 10%, or lot coverage above 2,500 square feet of any lot, whichever is greater). The property is located at 601 Old Westport Road in the Single Residence B, Aquifer Zone II and Aquifer Zone III Districts and identified on Assessor’s Map 48 Lot 10-3. Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in Meeting Room 304, Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA on the petition of Robert DeSimone, who is seeking a Use Variance to operate a general veterinary practice with a surgical suite. (Article 19, Section 375-19.2, Allowed Uses) (Article 43, Section 375-43.3, Use Variances) The property is located at 94 Faunce Corner Road in the Office Park District and Faunce Corner Overlay District and identified on Assessor’s Map 183 as Lot 74. This case was previously approved February 10, 2021, but due to unforeseen circumstances the Use Variance expired. This will be to provide electric service to 25 Ashley Street.
