Lloyd Center's clambake, July 14
Festivities for the Lloyd Center's Clambake XXXII will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at Demarest Lloyd State Park. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m.
This year's fundraiser will feature a new menu, including raw bar, lobster rolls, chowder, and assorted sliders. There will be a top-shelf open bar and silent auction, all to a '70s theme. Disco dress is encouraged.
The annual clambake helps to underwrite the costs of the Lloyd Center’s environmental research and education programs.
Anyone wishing to receive an advance “patronage” invitation should call (508) 990-0505, ext.10, as soon as possible, as the event traditionally sells-out.
Members of Clambake XXXII’s Steering Committee are Kelly Contois Rebello, Chair, Gregory Clear, Sandra T. Hall, Linda Hamilton, Susanna Jacobus, Anne Louro, Peter L. Macdonald, Suzanne Means, and Alex Preston.
