Michelangelo video series at Southworth Library starting Jan. 23

The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries invites the public to the 33rd annual Molly Little Film Series, which will focus on the life and most influential works of Italian artist and sculptor Michelangelo. 

The video series begins at 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the Haskell Room at Southworth Library located at 732 Dartmouth Street. The series will continue at that same time and location every Tuesday morning through Feb. 27. 

William E Wallace, a professor in the department of art history and archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis, will be teaching the video series produced by the educational platform The Great Courses. The video series will focus on Michelangelo’s early life, inspiration, and greatest works ranging from The Sistine Chapel to the statue David.
