A Brockton motorcyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash on Hathaway Road late Saturday night.

Dartmouth police said officers, along with other emergency personnel, responded to the area after reports of a motorcycle crash at around 10:53 p.m.

Upon arrival, officer found an unresponsive man on the ground, along with the 2003 Suzuki SV1000 motorcycle he was operating.

The victim, identified as a 36-year-old from Brockton, was taken to St. Luke’s hospital in New Bedford with life-threatening injuries.

No one else was on the motorcycle at the time of the accident, according to police.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
