Dartmouth police are currently investigating gunshots fired near ALDI late Friday night.

Police said the shots were reported at the mall parking lot at around 10:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Upon investigation, police said detectives recovered numerous shell casings, as well as bullet fragments lodged in a parked vehicle. 

This vehicle was later determined not to be associated with any of the shooters.

According to police, two groups of individuals had exchanged gunfire and then fled the area. Those  involved in the incident remain at large.
