Prepare to hear the moon’s grammar like never before

For those who have ever wondered about the grammar of the moon, an upcoming poetry read may have the answers.

The Dartmouth Cultural Center is hosting Boston-based poet Matthew Porto on Saturday, Oct. 5 for a poetry read. Porto will read from his book of poetry, Moon Grammar, and the event will be interspersed with comments and conversations with writer Charlie Emerson Riggs. There will also be an audience Q&A.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Dartmouth Cultural Center, located at 404 Elm Street in Padanaram.

Admission is free, and light refreshments will be provided.
