Applications for Dartmouth Public Schools’ preschool program are now being accepted.

The district offers preschool programs at Cushman Elementary School and at Potter Elementary School. Applications to the program are due by March 15.

An online application form can be obtained at the district’s website, dartmouth.school, or at the district’s registration center at the 8 Bush Street Central Offices. Applications are also available at Dartmouth school buildings.

Children must be three years old prior to Sept. 1, 2019, must be toilet trained prior to the start of school, must reside in the Town of Dartmouth, and guardians must provide transportation. Priority will be given to children who will be four years old prior to Sept. 1, 2019.

The district uses a lottery system to determine placement if the number of applications exceeds the total available slots.

Once applications are completed, a screening session will be scheduled. Parents will be notified of their child’s acceptance into the district’s preschool program in early April.

Tuition is $450 per month for the full-day multi-age program. Payments are due the first week of each month from September 2019 to June 2020 .
