The Dartmouth Library Trustees invites the public to two separate events to meet the new Library Director for the Dartmouth Public Libraries Dina St. Pierre.

The welcome events will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday June 5 at North Branch Library, 211 Cross Road, and from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, June 9 at Southworth Library, 732 Dartmouth St.

St. Pierre, who will speak at both events, is the former Acushnet Public Library Director. Her first day working in Dartmouth was May 15.

She replaces Library Director Lynne Antunes, who recently retired after decades of service to the Dartmouth Libraries. 

Trustees will introduce St. Pierre to the community. Those attending can also tour the library and have light refreshments.
