Holiday characters in the form of inflatables will be infiltrating Padanaram again this December and the community is invited to come out and meet them.

Join Dartmouth High alum Braiden Norton and student Carlos Jeronimo for the fifth annual Padanaram Christmas Inflatable event, which will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14 at the corner of Bridge and Elm streets.

The event was created by Norton and Jeronimo to raise money for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where Norton spent time recovering from a long series of brain surgeries at Spaulding after doctors discovered a tumor — a noncancerous form of juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma — at the top of his brain stem when he was just 18 months old. 

Though the event is free, donations are welcome.

“It’s a fun festive event that we hope can get local families in the Christmas spirit,” Norton said. “It’s our 5th annual year of doing this and we have a couple new inflatables that you won’t want to miss!”
