Road paving in June and July

The Town of Dartmouth will be milling and paving 12 roads from June 9 to July 18 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

There will be a parking ban Monday to Friday on these streets during paving hours. Local detours will be available during paving. 

The roads that will be under construction are: 

• Chase Road from Kyle Jacob Road to Gentle Valley Drive

• Patton Street from Slocum Road to the dead end

• Truman Avenue from Marshall Street to MacArthur Street

• MacArthur Street from Truman Avenue to Doolittle Avenue

• Marshall Street from Truman Ave to 4 Marshall St.

• Doolittle Avenue from Nimitz Street to Doolittle Avenue

• Nimitz Street from Truman Ave to Doolittle Avenue

• Slocum Road from Route 6 To Patton Avenue

• Metropolitan Street from Slocum Road to the dead end

• Huntington Avenue from Slocum Road to the dead end

• Lexington Avenue from Slocum Road to 90 Lexington Avenue

• Longfellow Street from Lexington Avenue to the New Bedford city line
