Senior center to remain closed through end of the month

Jan 14, 2022

The Dartmouth Senior Center will now be closed through the month due to the ongoing surge of Covid-19 cases, the Council on Aging announced Thursday.

The center first closed late last year in anticipation of the rising cases and was set to reopen Jan. 18.

Officials note while the center will remain shut, the Council on Aging will continue to provide outreach and transportation services by appointment only. Clinicians will also be available by appointment only.

The center’s offices will also remain open for routine administrative operations.

Officials will re-evaluate the closure at the end of the month.
