Round the Bend Farm is having an open farm day on Saturday, Sept. 20 with baby ducklings, potato sales and a class on fermenting.

Snuggle with some baby ducklings from the Swaye Family Farm’s latest brood. The event is held at the Learning center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is open to kids of all ages. 

The farm had an abundant potato crop this year, and is offering a pound of chemical-free yellow potatoes for $0.50 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

Garden Manager Benoit Azagoh-Kouadio is holding a free fermentation workshop from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with a suggested donation when signing up online. Some of the available options to ferment will be peppers, kombucha, sauerkraut and more.
