Special Council on Aging September programs

The Council on Aging is accepting reservations for several special programs in September.

A workshop series featuring hypnosis will be held in September. Sessions are weight loss on September 10, stress management on September 17, and self-hypnosis on September 24. The cost is $8 per session in advance.

The Dartmouth Police Department and the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office will host a presentation on its Project Lifesaver program on September 20, 2 p.m. The technology is designed to help search and rescuers locate people prone to wandering off, including those with Alzheimer’s, autism, and other related conditions. Pre-registration is required.  

The Council on Aging will host a forum on cannabis use on September 11, 10:30-11:30 a.m. The discussion will include the use of cannabis for pain and inflammation. The cost is $5, and pre-registration is required.
