One man’s trash is not always a treasure, and that includes spring yard waste.

The town of Dartmouth announced its spring 2025 yard waste collection schedule for Save-Money-And-Reduce-Trash Program participants.

For Monday and Tuesday solid waste collection, pickup will be at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 11, Friday, May 2 and Friday, May 16.

Wednesday and Thursday solid waste collection will take place on Friday, April 18, Friday, May 9 and Friday, May 23.

Leaves, grass and yard clippings “must be placed in biodegradable bags or loose in barrels or corrugated boxes,” according to the town of Dartmouth.

Yard waste can also be dropped off at the Water Pollution Control Facility at 759 Russell Mills Road. Drop offs at this facility require a transfer station sticker, which is free for all Save-Money-And-Reduce-Trash participants.
