Who was Eudora Welty?
Learn about the life and work of Eudora Welty, an American writer and photographer who was born in 1909, at the Dartmouth Cultural Center.
On Thursday, Oct. 9, Laura Bailet of Dartmouth will share her personal collection of Welty’s photographs, along with her insights into literary and photographic themes present across Welty’s body of work.
This event will take place at the Dartmouth Cultural Center at 404 Elm Street beginning at 7 p.m.
Admission costs $10, and tickets can be purchased at Dartmouthculturalcenterinc.org.

Halloween fun that benefits everyone
Have some safe and not-spooky fun at the Melo Event’s Outdoor Halloween Craft Fair on Sunday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair will be held at the VFW Post 9059 at 144 Cross Road in North Dartmouth.
Anyone who brings requested items will receive free tickets to the raffle. They are requesting donations of; Personal hygiene products especially tooth paste, shampoo & conditioner, diapers sizes 4-7, pull ups sizes 3/4 and baby wipes.
