Town Administrator Shawn MacInnes will be staying in Dartmouth for another three years. MacInnes’s contract was approved at the Feb. 5 Select Board meeting by a unanimous vote. His contract will run from July 1, 2024 to the same date in 2027. 

MacInnes has managed the town since 2018, when he replaced former town administrator David Cressman after spending 21 years as municipal operations director at the town of Yarmouth.

An engineer by trade, he began his career at the Yarmouth Department of Public Works before working his way up to manage a $15 million budget and 50 employees in his department.
