A woman killed in a September 26 crash in Freetown has been identified as Savannah Gonsalves, 18, of Dartmouth. 

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Gonsalves was driving a 2003 Ford Escape heading northbound on Route 140. 

At 8:10 a.m., in the area of Exit 8, Gonsalves lost control of the SUV. The SUV rolled over into the southbound lanes, and came to test in the southbound breakdown lane. 

Gonsalves was ejected from the SUV during the rollover, and pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
