Mar 22, 2019

Residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, April 2 to cast their votes in three contested elections, including two Select Board races and one Planning Board race.

On the ballot, both Select Board races are contested. Incumbent Shawn McDonald is being challenged by newcomer Frank Condez, and incumbent John Haran is facing former Select Board member Kelli Martin Taglianetti.

In the Planning Board race, there are two open seats — one from the retirement of Joel Avila last year, and an additional seat open by longtime member Joseph E. Toomey, Jr. not seeking re-election.

Realtor Margaret Sweet and recycling executive Timothy Cusson are in the running for one of the seats. Stephen E. Taylor is running unopposed for the remaining seat.
