Residents from across the South Coast are invited to attend a walk for Ukraine in Fall River on Sunday May 1 at 4 p.m.

The event is a collaboration of the faith communities of United Interfaith Action of Southeastern Massachusetts, the InterChurch Council of Greater New Bedford, and the Greater Fall River Council of Churches.

The walk will begin at the Blessed Trinity Polish National Catholic Church located at 1340 Plymouth Ave and will make a stop at St. Stanislaus Chuch on 36 Rockland St. before ending at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church at 327 Center Street.

Those participating in the walk are encouraged to bring a sunflower — the national flower of Ukraine.
