What is a bobolink?
Apr 26, 2017
Learn about bobolinks — relatives to the blackbird and orioles — this June with Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary staff.
June is the birds' breeding time, and to celebrate, the Sanctuary will host weekly viewings on Thursdays at 8 a.m. The bird — identified by its black body, white back, and yellow cap — is thriving in the sanctuary’s fields. The walkthroughs include education on bird conservation and practices.
The cost is $10 for Mass Audubon members; $12 for non-members. Register online at massaudobon.org/allenspond, or call the sanctuary at (508) 636-2437.
