The Dartmouth Barnes & Noble will host an evening with author Adam Johnson, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for his novel “The Orphan Master’s Son.”

The free event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11 and 7:30 p.m.

His new book, “Fortune Smiles: Stories” is a collection of stories dealing with love and loss, natural disasters, technology and the way that politics shapes the personal.

A question and answer session and book signing will follow the lecture. Both books will be available for purchase.
