University lecture on spiritual abuse
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth will host a lecture on the destructive power of spiritual abuse on February 15 at 12 p.m. at Charlton College of Business Room 115.
Hosted by Rev. Robert Pardon, the topic will cover the psychological dynamics that allow for and create spiritual abuse, situations in which some religious groups use their spiritual influence to inflict abuse upon their members.
Pardon is the executive director of Meadow Haven. Meadow Haven is the only long term transitional, rehabilitation facility in the world designed to provide a safe, healing environment for those who escape high control, destructive religion groups. Rev Pardon speaks internationally and nationally on this topic.
